Operational oil spill monitoring is a highly time sensitive service in which satellite-based information products are used to map spills, support clean up efforts, and report to regulators. C-CORE uses a combination of commercial and freely available data as required by the client, and is currently on an on-call basis for clients on the east coast of Canada, but services have also been delivered to other locations in the past.
