C-CORE is proud to be one of five Canadian companies selected by the Canadian Space Agency as part of a national initiative to address urgent environmental challenges using satellite data.

Our project, “Mitigating Arctic Challenges through AI and Satellite Data,” focuses on the rapidly changing Arctic landscape. With warming temperatures, thawing permafrost is releasing methane and reshaping ecosystems. C-CORE is leveraging multi-mission satellite imagery, drone data, ground-based sensors, and cutting-edge AI techniques to monitor these changes.

These insights will directly support Territorial governments and Northern communities in adapting to environmental shifts and building resilience.
